Here’s how payments work with Walden:
- For your subscription plan and any one-off items that are a fixed weight, we place an authorization on your card 5–7 business days before your scheduled delivery. This is not a charge yet—just a hold to confirm funds are available.
- The actual charge for those items is processed 3 business days prior to delivery.
- If you’ve added items priced per pound (such as certain cuts of meat), those are weighed when your order is packed. Because of this, the final charge for those items is processed when we are fulfilling your delivery.
This process ensures your payment is accurate, fair, and only reflects the exact items and weights in your share.
Updating Your Credit Card
If you ever need to update your card on file, go to the “Your Share” menu in the top green banner and select “Account Info.” From there, choose “Payment Methods.”
- To edit your current default card, click Edit inside the card box, update the details, and save.
- To add a new card, click Add New Payment Method and enter your card and billing information. If your card has the same number but a new expiration date, you’ll need to add it as a new card instead of editing the old one
